Top five: Premier League match-winners !!

5. Mesut Ozil | Arsenal
Germany international Mesut Ozil has only played a handful of matches for Arsenal since completing his £42.4m move from Real Madrid, but it's already abundantly clear that he will earn the Gunners so many points during his stay at the Emirates Stadium.

He's only number five on this list because he's just arrived in the Premier League - but give it a season, or even a few months, and he could very well be sitting on top of the pile.

4. Juan Mata | Chelsea

Juan Mata joined Chelsea two seasons ago - and at the end of both he was crowned the Blues' Player of the Year.

The main reason behind that is the sheer amount of goals and assists he contributed.

Mata has consistently delivered for Chelsea since arriving from Valencia in 2011 - and even Jose Mourinho has been forced to concede that the Blues are a far more dangerous unit with the Spanish playmaker in the team.

3. Robin van Persie | Manchester United

The former Arsenal captain scored a hatful of vital, match-winning goals for the Red Devils en route to helping them secure a record-breaking 20th league title last season.

Wayne Rooney is also a match-winner for Manchester United, but Van Persie edges it after last season's heroic efforts.

2. Sergio Aguero | Manchester City

The man who scored the title-winning goal for Manchester City in 2012 has been a consistent match-winner for the Citizens since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011.

When Manchester City record a big win, Aguero is inevitably on the scoresheet.

1. Luis Suarez | Liverpool

Suarez, who divides opinion look few other players in world football, can produce moments of magic from next to nothing - and Liverpool did excellently to hold onto him this summer.

The 26-year-old always scores vital goals for both club and country - and without him, Liverpool and Uruguay would be far weaker teams.
