Chris Brown returns to Hollywood nightlife for the second day

He endured a waify two weeks of his planned three-month rehab stint for anger issues.

And Chris Brown was relishing his rediscovered freedom on Friday evening as he and his on-again-off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran headed out in Hollywood together for the second night in a row following his self-ejection from the Malibu treatment center.

The troubled 24-year-old and his pretty supporter attended their friend Jhene Aiko's Sail Out EP release, which took place at a Hollywood event space.

Chris wandered about in crisp khaki trousers and black lace-up combat boots, showing off his lack of muscle definition in a basic black T-shirt, attempted to add a splash of old Hollywood charm with a brown suede trilby.

The Fine China singer was enjoying another night out and about with his love Karrueche, with whom he seems to be enjoying a very peachy 'on' phase in their relationship.

The pair snuggled up for some selfies with Jhene Aiko during her EP launch party - presented by Hennessy V.S and Def Jam Recordings.

Karrueche seems to have stuck by the troubled singer and ex-boyfriend of Rihanna's side through his recent ordeal in Washingon D.C. which saw him arrested for breaking a man's nose and admitting himself to a rehab facility for anger issues.

The alleged assault follows Chris' much publicised assault charges after he infamously left Rihanna in hospital in 2009.

Chris opted to become an outpatient on Wednesday and reportedly went straight out to dinner with his girl.

A rep for the star confirmed to RadarOnline: 'Chris is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area.

'He appreciates all of your encouragement and support.'

Karrueche certainly seemed to appreciate her boyfriend's early homecoming, as she was spotted bouncing about in a cute yellow crop top on Thursday with an insatiable smile on her face.
