Porsha Stewart brands estranged husband Kordell Stewart a 'queen' and hints at abuse in the marriage

She said she was taken by surprise when her former NFL player husband, Kordell Stewart, announced he was filing for divorce on Twitter, but it seems Porsha Stewart was already aware of real problems in the marriage. 

The Real Housewive’s of Atlanta star has sensationally branded her ex 'a queen' after defending him against gay rumours for years and has even hinted at abuse within the relationship. 

This was all revealed in Sunday night's Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Her co-star Kandi Burruss asked Porsha: 'He never beat you, did he?'

After a long and pointed pause, the 32-year-old replied: 'No,' but added, 'Everybody gets shook a little bit here and there.'

She continued: 'We had our issues and I don’t think he would put his hands on me now. There’s no reason for him to do anything like that.'

Kandi had been visiting Porsha at her mother Diane’s house, where the reality star now lives.

Porsha also claimed to Kandi that her ex had allegedly damaged her wedding reception dressing, adding a loaded: 'That’s why I’m afraid to just be around him by myself.'

Kandi then said to camera: 'I’ve seen guys like Kordell before: He truly wants to be loved, but sometimes when guys are angry, they lash out in a b***hy way.'

Despite all this, Porsha insisted she still has feelings for Kordell: 'For some crazy reason, I do still love him. I need closure. Right now it feels like somebody has died and you can’t find their body so you don’t have closure. Divorce feels like a death in the family.'

Also, in the episode, Porsha received a box of her belongings from her sportsman ex.

'Kordell wanted to buy my shoes, buy my bags, buy my clothes. He wanted to choose how I looked, like his Barbie. And I thought it was just him being, what is it? Metrosexual,' Porsha commented in a loaded fashion.

Then Porsha found her wedding reception dress in shreds at the bottom of the box.

'What an a******!” she told her mother, 'This is not something that a man would do,' she then added to the cameras.

'It’s not something that a husband would do. It’s something that a queen would do, who is being dramatic and he wants to let me know, woman to woman, that he doesn’t give a damn about anything that we had together,' she added before cutting Kordell's picture in the wedding album.
